The No. 15 Connecticut Huskies defeated the No. 20 Creighton Bluejays by 44 points on the road earlier this season. The rematch for the 2023-24 regular season is on Monday in Connecticut and the spread should be gigantic.

Creighton has never defeated Connecticut in eight tries with the Huskies averaging outscoring the Bluejays by 25 points in those games. These contests played in Connecticut have recently gone better for Creighton.
The Huskies have won the past two games in this series played in Connecticut by a total of just 10 points. Both teams come into Monday relatively healthy for this point in the season. The Bluejays have been without Lexi Unruh all season while Azzi Fudd has been out for the Huskies for the entire campaign as well.
Both of these teams have adjusted to life without those players. Bettors will have to decide whether they believe Creighton has adjusted since its last meeting with Connecticut.
Handicapping Bluejays vs. Huskies
Connecticut knows what’s at stake on Monday. A win would essentially wrap up the 2023-24 Big East regular-season title and the top spot in the upcoming conference tournament. A loss, on the other hand, would keep Creighton’s hopes of snagging those honors alive.
The stat sheet predicts a strong Huskies win. Connecticut is currently the second-best shooting team in the nation and has done a tremendous job of avoiding turnovers all season. Simply looking at the stats, the Bluejays have a narrow path to a win.
Nobody in the country shoots free throws better than Creighton and the Bluejays have been among the best at scoring from behind the 3-point arc as well. If they can push those attributes to the max on Monday, they might make history in recording the first ever Creighton win over Connecticut.
Given the efficiency of both offenses, the over is in play in this game. For spread betting, though, it’s hard to see any legal North American online sportsbook posting a line any smaller than 25 points.
